I HAVE A LOVE OF FILM IN MY DNA

My name is Martin; during the week I’m an army lawyer, and on weekends I’m a wedding videographer from Olomouc.

It all started in our family back in the ’70s. One grandfather had an 8mm camera, the other a passion for photography and the darkroom. Thanks to their legacy, I came to understand that film isn’t just about capturing an image, but mainly about preserving the unique energy of the moment.

I naturally got into filmmaking through photography, but I gradually became absorbed by audiovisual media and I’ve been hooked ever since. And perhaps thanks to my ancestors, I love shooting on analog.

And what about weddings? I enjoy them because they’re different every time. Not because of the decorations, but because of the people.

WHAT IS MY APPROACH?

I see a wedding as a ritual of bringing families together and gathering the best friends. My role? As a wedding videographer, I am always where the action is, while remaining a natural part of the wedding. If you believe that the greatest power lies in authentic moments, we will understand each other. In short, a timeless wedding film (even with the unique charm of an analog 8mm camera) that will never go out of style.
